This conference focuses on the use of systems modeling techniques in managing the complex social and environmental problems related to food systems, natural systems, wildlife management, water, health, transportation, and education.

Call for Proposals

Because of the intricate connections between complex social and environmental problems, we are soliciting papers, demonstrations, and posters on:

• Trans-disciplinary (linked) modeling that involves the integration of knowledge and practice across the natural and social, behavioral, and economic sciences, public health, and other related disciplines
• Participatory modeling that involves stakeholders from a wide range of sectors in conceptualizing, representing, and managing complex problems
• Quantitative systems modeling techniques including, but not limited to, system dynamics modeling, social network analysis, and agent-based modeling
