This year, UALL are delighted to announce that the UALL 2018 Annual Conference will be held in the lovely surroundings of Downing College, University of Cambridge. The conference is a perfect opportunity for practitioners and researchers present their work and ideas to the wider academic community.

We offer the chance for colleagues to present workshops during the conference and I am happy to annouce that we received a very good response to our Call for Papers. This year's theme of: Opportunities for lifelong learning in a changing world is drumming up much interest.

The event will start with an informal dinner on the evening of Wednesday 21st March, followed by two days Conference and it will close at lunchtime on Friday 23rd March, 2018. In the afternoon of Friday, there will be a tour of Cambridge, followed by tea at Madingley Hall, University of Cambridge which houses the Institute of Continuing Education.  

The keynote speakers are:

• Nicola Dandridge CBE, Chief Executive of the Office for Students
• Dr Wayne Smutz, Dean of Continuing Education and Extension, University of California; President UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education Association), USA

There will be a drinks reception and conference dinner on Thursday 22nd March, held at the college where the presentations of the UALL 2018 Awards will take place.

Bookings can be made via our website. Once taken to the website you will be guided either to our internal system where you will receive an invoice. The second option will take you to the Cambridge University Online store where you will be able to book the event via card payments.
