The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) cordially invites you to a webinar on prison education during COVID-19.
 
Many of the 173 UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) members around the world are facing severe challenges due to the coronavirus, including responding to the crisis in prisons.

In order to exchange strategies and practical approaches to support local communities and to share good practices, members of the UNESCO GNLC are convening a webinar organized by UIL on Wednesday 13 May 2020 to discuss the situation in prisons, looking at the impact of the crisis on prison education, but also the opportunities to use prison education as part of the response.

All interested representatives from prison administrations, the education sector, UNESCO GNLC member cities and non-members, are invited to join the online event, share their experiences and learn from each other.
