Placemaking Monthly Newsletter | Project for Public Spaces - Library Launches and Wuhan's Waterfronts

This newsletter from the Project for Public Spaces connects people who share a passion for public spaces to ideas and issues, news, quotes, places, and events from the placemaking movement.

Library Launches and Wuhan's Waterfronts

This month, PPS traveled to Wuhan, China to plan for the upcoming Wuhan Placemaking Week in December—and we were sure to check out some local public spaces along the way, including Hankou Jiangtan Park along the Yangtze River! We also headed to Tennessee for Startup Week Chattanooga and to Bentonville, Arkansas for the Heartland Summit. Also this month, we visited Halifax, Nova Scotia, to speak at the Art of City Building conference, and watched our work in Buffalo, New York kick off at the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library!
