One of the recent seminars of the Jean Monnet Network, ‘The EU’s Role in the Implementation of the SDGs in Asia Pacific’, was delivered by Dr Lavinia Hirsu, SUEUAA co-I, on the topic of Gender Equality. The University of Glasgow is a partner within this Jean Monnet network and is represented by Professors Michael Osborne, SUEUAA PI, and Michele Schweisfurth from the School of Education. This network co-ordinated at RMIT Melbourne brings together researchers, policy think tanks and Non-Government Organisations who share a primary interest in enhancing the effective contribution of the EU to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Asia Pacific. It is supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Details of its work are found at this link.
