We are pleased to announce that the work of SUEUAA [2] project, which concerns strengthening the urban engagement role of universities in Africa and Asia, will be extended through staff and student exchanges as a result of a successful institutional application by the University of Glasgow to the European Commission's Erasmus+ 2018 Key Action 107, Higher education student and staff mobility between Programme and Partner Countries - International Credit Mobility [3].
The University of Glasgow was successful in winning funding for mobilities with 15 countries, and these include Iraq and Zimbabwe for the first time. In the case of these two countries, that element of the funding within the overall grant of €2,226,678.00 is dedicated to SUEUAA related work with the University of Duhok and the University of Zimbabwe.
