We are seeking input and comments on the framework for our Gold Standard Sustainable Cities Programme, through which cities can develop, audit and verify urban programmes in order to catalyse and scale up currently missing investment.
The new framework goes beyond strictly GHG-driven interventions, allowing funding agencies and developers the flexibility to include activities with significant social benefits independent of their associated GHGs emission reductions. For example, providing access to clean water can result in GHGs emission reductions and deliver a critical health service to a local community.
This public consultation is now live and will be open until 06 February 2015. Please send all responses to [email protected] [1] by this date.
Feedback can be submitted by:
- Filling in the question/response boxes provided under each section; or
- Submitting your inputs in the table provided at the end of the document; or
- Inserting any comments or amendments via the track change mode
