A recent process of international consultation have come to a phase for UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) to provide a Draft text of a New Recommendation on the Development of Adult Education to follow the very well-known 1976 Nairobi Recommendation. This consultation was based on a very intensive year-long discussion with adult educators, professional experts to deal with key issues influencing the development of the field. The whole approach may have a strong impact on the development of learning cities and regions.
The English version of the Draft is featured below and attached, other versions are also available in French [2], Spanish [3], Russian [4], Arabic [5] and Chinese [6].
