New Draft of UNESCO Recommendation on the Development of Adult Education
A recent process of international consultation have come to a phase for UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) to provide a Draft text of a New Recommendation on the Development of Adult Education to follow the very well-known 1976 Nairobi Recommendation. This consultation was based on a very intensive year-long discussion with adult educators, professional experts to deal with key issues influencing the development of the field. The whole approach may have a strong impact on the development of learning cities and regions.
The English version of the Draft is featured below and attached, other versions are also available in French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese.
