PASCAL has been an eye opener for both our region and our university. Especially the engagement in the PURE project has been very important as independent specialists from PASCAL have stimulated and facilitated the dialogue between region and university. Undoubtedly the participation in conferences and the help from PASCAL in locating ideal role models to visit and study for our region and university are examples which come to mind. The advisory and mentoring role from the PASCAL experts when we are now moving forward in the writing of a regional action program on lifelong learning is very important for all the stakeholders in Jämtland. I am convinced that we would never succeeded in getting all stakeholders including the university to the table had it not been for the helping hand from our friends and colleagues in PASCAL.
