This website and a handbook is an initiative of Planning NSW that has been developed as a tool to improve the quality of community engagement for practioners in planning and development. Community engagement is a core element of planFIRST - the NSW Government's landmark reform of the planning system. The site provides comprehensive, easy-to-use tools, leading practice principles and practical stories from the field much of which can be applied to other community engagement projects.
