In March this year three interwoven conferences looked at “Quality Education and Lifelong Learning for All” from national, regional, and international perspectives. They combined the annual Non-formal Education Meeting with information and exchanges which discussed experiences from policy and practice in lifelong learning, and the emerging roles for broader community engagement of universities.

Participants came from Lao PDR, but at the same time countries like Cambodia, Korea, and the Philippines, and regional organizations like SEAMEO CELL, ASPBAE, and APUCEN. HE Vice Minister of Education and Sports Lytou Boapao opened and closed the conference, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Korea, Prof. Kim Shinil, gave the keynote. The book reports on all three meetings, and prints a selected set of presentations. Additionally it provides a CD with all other PPTs, photos, materials, and documents that were used. We assume that it will be a good opportunity to deepen the understanding on the way to the World Education Forum in Korea 2015.
