Northern Illinois University is among the nation’s premier regional public universities and is the US base for PASCAL and one of its three centres. The university is deeply committed to preparing teachers and providing an excellent and affordable higher education to Illinois families, some of whom have never sent a child to college before.

The co-ordinating unit at Northern Illinois University is the Center for Government Studies.

What does NUI do with PASCAL?

Pascal bases in North American centre headed by Professor Bob Gleeson at Northern Illinois University.

A number of members of Northern Illinois University staff are Pascal affiliates, including Dr Diana Robinson, Dr Norm Waltzer and Mr Paul Crawford.

Northern Illinois University staff including Vice-President, Anne Kaplan, Professor Bob Gleeson and Dr Diana Robinson have been members of Consultative Development Groups for PASCAL's PURE project.

Pascal has supported Northern Illinois University in auditing its regional engagement work within the its PURE study in Northern Illinois.

Many Pascal research and development projects are based at Northern Illinois University.
