Professor Catherine Odora Hoppers, incumbent of the DST/NRF South African Research Chair in Development Education and Director of PASCAL Africa, has returned from India after being part of the 2016 Festival of Innovation, which focused on inclusive innovations.

Folkloric Festival Duhok

As a support for Duhok showcase for Glasgow conference as a multi-cultural seeking for peace for all its contents. Nawroz University, College of languages hold the 1st Folkloric festival. The aim of the festival was to show Kurdish heritage to the other nationalities in the city and also the festival focused on the role Kurdish special forces in front lines fighting for all humanity against ISIS. It is worth mentioning, that three members of PASCAL were present in this festival: Dr Kamal Ketuly, Dr Haithem Algargary, Mr Sherwan T Ameen.
