The 10th Annual Conference of the British Education Studies Association (BESA)
The British Education Studies Association (BESA) hold an annual conference, and in 2014 the conference is to take place at the University of Glasgow. This conference is open to all those who are interested in issues affecting the education sector, not just in the UK but also internationally. We would therefore like to invite you to submit an abstract as a contribution to this important conference. The key theme of this year's conference is: 'The politics of education studies: pedagogy, curriculum, policy'.
Some of the suggested topics for papers are the following:
- Alternative voices in Education Studies
- Innovations in Education Studies
- Education Studies: Contemporary debates
- Researching Education Studies: critical issues
- Student perspectives on Education Studies
This list is not exhaustive and we welcome papers from a broad range of perspectives.
More information on the conference is available on the BESA website.
Registration is now open.
Submissions of abstracts: Interested in presenting at the conference? Details can be found here.
Please note that the Conference programme includes an Early Career Researcher Pre-Conference on the 25th June, which is a free event for all those interested in attending - more details to follow on the website.
