2016 EFMD Higher Education Research Conference - Call for Papers
The fast changing world demands complex responses. Are Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) sufficiently prepared to take up the new challenges? Are they adopting innovative approaches to their governance and management? What are the new approaches to research, teaching and learning?
The Annual EFMD Higher Education Research Conference is a platform for cross-fertilisation of research by scholars from management, higher education and related fields.
This year’s conference will take place on 10-11 October in Barcelona, Spain, and will be hosted by IESE Business School, University of Navarra.
We will focus on "Innovations in Higher Education" under three tracks:
- Track 1: Innovations in governance, management and organisation of HEIs
- Track 2: Innovations in education
- Track 3: Innovations in research
Target Group
Academics and researchers from management, higher education and related fields.

Call for papers
- Deadline – 27 may 2016
- Outline paper – around 2000 words
Submit an outline paper which should highlight the central research questions, the core paper concepts and the nature of the research method (for research studies). Naturally, submissions may be complete papers if ready at the time of submission. Please indicate your preferred conference track.

Journals will be approached for a special issue on the selected papers.
Registration
Registration will open in May 2016.
