2nd International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC) - 28 to 30 September 2015 in Mexico City
The International Conference on Learning Cities provides an opportunity for mayors, city education executives and experts from all over the world to communicate their expertise in building learning cities, learn from others’ experiences, forge partnerships and create synergies. The 1st conference, which was held in Beijing in 2013, culminated in the adoption of the Beijing Declaration on Building Learning Cities and the Key Features of Learning Cities.
The 2nd Conference on Learning Cities will further explore the implementation of the Key Features of Learning Cities. The conference will strengthen international dialogue between mayors, city education executives, policymakers, stakeholders and lifelong learning experts. It aims to support the building of sustainable learning cities, and will spotlight cities that have made exemplary progress in implementing learning city policies.
The Conference will be held from 28 to 30 September 2015 in Mexico City, Mexico.
The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), as the secretariat of the ICLC and the coordinating body of the GNLC, is looking forward to a successful event!
