The Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education of Korea are coming together to organize the 4th National Lifelong Learning Expo on 4 -6 September 2015 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The Lifelong Learning Expos are held annually to serve as a space for learners and institutions of lifelong education to come together and share their learning experiences. It also serves to further promote the learning culture and to encourage public participation in lifelong learning. The 2015 Expo is the 4th in its series and shows no signs of slowing down as it pushes forth its ideals for a happy learning experience.

At the Expo, the local governments from 17 cities and provinces, 136 learning cities, and numerous study circles and institutions of lifelong education including lifelong education universities operate exhibition booths to share learning outcomes and information about programs to help the public take part in the learning experience.

This year's Expo includes the 2015 Lifelong Learning Award and the plaque presentation ceremony for newly designated learning cities. Additionally, various events relating to lifelong education are planned, including the announcement of a new “Literacy Month" and the launch of a new exhibition of illustrated poems written by learners from adult literacy education institutions around the country.
