  • Prof Steve Fothergill, 'Are cities really the motors of regional  economic growth?'
  • 'City Vision' presentations from key urban research institutes
  • Participatory discussion of future directions for urban policy and  research
  • Scoping discussion for a North British Urban Research Network  (N-BURN) involving researchers and policy makers

The Scottish Cities Knowledge Centre in collaboration with Policy  Scotland, University of Glasgow, is pleased to host the above event. Please find attached a draft programme.

The event will appeal to those involved in urban, local and regional  development - spanning 'policy', 'practice' and 'research', and public,  private and 'third' sectors."
