Mayor's Video Message - Celebrating the International Day of Education
As a member city of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, Wolverhampton is proud to be part of the International Day of Education #EducationDay which was marked by the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) on 24th and 25th January. The focus was on learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We invite you to watch the video from the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Claire Darke, who shares a video message of support to celebrate the International Day of Education and profile how learning and education are vital to the city’s recovery following the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
