This seminar will provide a critical analysis of the path of implementation between policy and practice in science education for diverse learners in Tanzania. It will discuss the philosophical and historical drivers behind current policy and place these within wider global contexts and development agendas. It will then proceed to examine a diversity of factors which can contrastingly, and simultaneously, act to both impede and speed the journey between policy and practice.
