Dear Colleagues,

I'd like to invite you to an afternoon seminar hosted by the Glasgow Urban Lab to examine academia, city administrations and placemaking: how do they interact to make better cities and what does the future hold for such initiatives?

The Glasgow Urban Lab is hosting this event on Monday 14th November 2011 from 16.00 - 18.00 in the Conference Suite at the Lighthouse, Mitchell Lane, Glasgow.

We are honoured to have as guest speaker Josef Konvitz: formerly Head of the OECD's Division with responsibility for Regulatory Policy, Public Governance and Territorial Development and currently Honorary Professor, Education, at the University of Glasgow.

Please see the flier attached for further details of the programme for the afternoon.

I very much hope you will be able to join us.

With best wishes

Yours

Prof Brian Evans
Head of Urbanism, Mackintosh School of Architecture
The Glasgow School of Art
