On 23 September 2020, new members will join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC). These cities are outstanding examples of how lifelong learning can become a reality at local level. They have proven that effective lifelong learning policies and practices can support the development of inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities and contribute to the 2030 Agenda.
 
Register to meet new member cities during an online event on 23 September 2020, 13:30-15:00h CEST. In addition, a memorandum of understanding between the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities and Mercociudades will be signed during the webinar. Founded in 1995, Mercociudades is one of the most important networks of local governments in Latin America with 353 member cities in ten countries of the continent.
