Please find below details of the conference Worldwide trends in the development of education and academic research organised by the Bulgarian Comparative Education Society (BCES), Sofia, Bulgaria and International Research Center (IRC) ‘Scientific Cooperation’, Rostov-on-Don, Russia from 15-18 June 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are very pleased that Professor Michael Osborne, Director of PASCAL in Europe and Director of CR&DALL at the University of Glasgow will be one of our keynote speaker.

Conference Goal and Objectives
The main goal of this Conference is to focus academic discussions on the current worldwide trends in the development of education and academic research. The Conference provides a platform where scientists from all parts of the world meet and talk about academic and research matters of common interests.
The conference has three specific objectives:
- to discuss new policies, reforms and practices in preschool and school education;
- to outline prospects for the development of higher education;
- to examine different approaches to academic research.
The Conference also aims at establishing linkages between colleagues who work in the field of educational sciences and research at universities, colleges, and institutes around the world.

Conference Languages
This is a bilingual academic forum. The Conference languages are English and Russian. Details:
- Presentations of papers can be given in English or Russian.
- Each section (see the Sections page) has two chairs - one will moderate the presentations in English while the other will moderate the presentations in Russian.
- Texts of full papers to be considered for publication must be in English (see the Call for Papers page).
