Global Learning Festival - Reflections Workshop Minutes and Attachments
Following on from the inaugural Global Learning Festival (GLF) offered from 1-4 September 2020, in late October 2020, core learning city participants in the GLF Working Group met for a reflections session, led by Dr Robbie Guevera, PASCAL Observatory Board member and Associate Professor, International Development Program at RMIT.
Our informative and interactive session was well received and the GLF co-leads were thrilled with the outcomes shared by attendees and the collective achievement of our first Global Learning Festival. GLF co-hosts Wyndham and Melton councils highlighted there was a great feeling in the (virtual) room and they felt people felt heard and appreciated.
For the co-hosts, it was a privilege to bring together the GLF and have the input and expertise of some many from around the world to fulfil our goal of creating hope and unity during a time of uncertainty. https://www.globallearningfestival.com/
A copy of the Menti Metre results led by Robbie with the group, and a presentation on the feedback from a broad range of event providers collected post-festival, is available below/attached. Diane Tabbagh from Wyndham City Council will be sending out a calendar invitation early in 2021 for those interested in being a part of the planning for 2021. If you would like to be involved, email: [email protected]
Also, building on from the work of the GLF in September, the co-leads have their two local learning festivals coming up if PASCAL members are keen to enjoy some great free online learning events (feel free to share these events with your networks as appropriate):

- Melton Learning Festival: https://meltonlearning.com.au/festival/ (19-22 November 2020)
Warm Regards
Jac
