This final event of SUEUAA presents cases of engagement from our six countries as well as selected other papers from Africa and Asia, and will be of interest to academics, policy-makers and officials in cities and students from around the world.

We are delighted to be in Harare, and to have some many distinguished speakers making time to present to us. In particular we wish to thank the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Zimbabwe and his staff, the Town Clerk and City of Harare for their cooperation and contribution to our research findings, and the Vice-Chancellor of Rwanda and the Head of UNESCO IICBA.
