Local Economies and Pandemics - new book from PASCAL Africa
We are pleased to make available a new book from the Centre for Local Economic Development that hosts PASCAL Africa at the University of Johannesburg.
The book, Local Economies and Pandemics – Regional Perspectives, co-edited by PASCAL Africa Director, Marius Venter, forms an essential part of the development series of the Centre for Local Economic Development (CENLED) as it offers insight into how a global pandemic (COVID-19) impacted local economic development in various regions and the different responses from different spheres.
The book concludes with contributions from other members of the PASCAL Directorate in Africa, Peter Baur and Marinda Pretorius, as well as Peter Kearns, long time PASCAL Associate and initiator of the PASCAL International Exchanges (PIE) programme.
