The OECD staff devoted to regional, urban and local development present a series of papers and indexes concerning local financing, SMEs, culture, entrepreneurship and regional development, classic PASCAL themes. Proves to show what teamwork can achieve using electronic communications only.
My problem is that any assessment, analysis or future-oriented thinking involves direct confrontation preferably on the spot, and if not, then in conversions between no more than 2 or 3 people. We are stockpiling our questions and lists of places to visit!
Best would be to develop a couple of case studies that help local actors and decision-makers understand where and when to put their best efforts and limited resources.
