The fourth PASCAL Inclusion Workshop on Seniors as Lifelong Learners was held in Melbourne on 30 November hosted by the RMIT EU Centre. The report of the workshop by Denise Reghenzani is featured below and attached.

The Melbourne workshop followed PASCAL Inclusion Workshops in Townsville, Glasgow, and Bristol. The reports of each of these workshops are on the Learning Cities Networks (LCN) website. The Melbourne workshop brought together participants from a range of relevant organisations which included council libraries, a number of Learning Communities, National Seniors, Adult Learners Australia, and several universities. While the report shows a number of interesting innovations, it also demonstrates that more needs to be done in achieving lifelong learning opportunities for all seniors in the context of an ageing population.
