PIMA is part of the total PASCAL endeavour to promote and advance our shared values and purposes in a rapidly changing world. It seeks to support and complement the central thrust of Board policies, adding to the suite in ways and areas that the Board may not be able directly to undertake.

May I say again how much I welcome feedback, comment and especially input to the Newsletter from Board members. We are developing a real complementary of style; each can do different things better and we need to ensure that no effort is wasted. Looking at this Newsletter, do please find a few moments to send me any feedback that comes to mind.

Meanwhile I wish you a pleasant continuation of what at least in France and England is proving a long hot summer, hot politically as well as climatically.
