Fran Ferrier is Executive Director of the European Access Network (EAN) the only international, Europe-based non-government organisation whose sole focus is broadening participation in higher education. The four pillars of the EAN are access, equity, diversity and inclusion.

Previously, Fran has worked as an education researcher in the UK and Australia, with a focus on issues of diversity and inclusion within the framework of the economics of education.

For many years she was a Senior Research fellow for the Monash University-ACER Centre for the Economics of Education and Training (CEET) and prior to this was Researcher for the Council of Australian Postgraduate Associations (CAPA).
