10th PASCAL International Observatory Conference: Presentation proposals now being accepted.

Presentation proposals are now being accepted for the 10th PASCAL International Observatory Conference.  Please visit the conference website for details: http://pascal2011.org/.  Please spread the word about this exciting event!

THEME:  Regional Prosperity in a Global Era -- Exploring emerging strategies for sustainable transformative regional development generated through new relationships among higher education, government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.  The conference will highlight demonstrations of evidence-based collaborative practices that broaden the understanding of "shared prosperity" through strategies based on social entrepreneurship, "green" initiatives, creative industries, and culture-preserving or faith-informed initiatives.

DATES: October 3-5, 2011.  A welcome reception will take place 2 October (Sunday evening: 18.00 – 20.00) at the conference venue directly across from the conference hotel space. 

FEE: $425.00 (US) until 15 August; $500.00 thereafter.  Student rate: $325.00.   This fee includes morning and afternoon meals/breaks, the Monday evening Gala Dinner (3 October), conference materials, and a copy of the latest PASCAL publication (2010 Östersund, Sweden conference proceedings).  Lodging is not included in the registration fee. 

Registration begins 29 April 2011.  Details on lodging will be available at that time.
