A Good Space - Where People of Purpose Play, Singapore

With a commitment to doing more for the social issues and communities cared about, A Good Space initiated start-up grants for projects with innovative ideas. Submissions came for programs around social inequality, youth, migrant workers, vegie collectives, sexual harassment to marine biodiversity.

A showcase event for the 41 entrants will pitch their approach to expanding perspectives and creating greater social inclusion.  Invoking social change, the projects will also be open to volunteers and collaborations with citizen change-makers.

Additional speaking events are offered to the nation, such as the recent: "Inspiration for Action: Personal sharing of grit and mental resilience with Barney Swan, age 24.  Barney trekked 600 miles in 65 days across the South Pole on renewable energy alone.

There was also a workshop for youth and youth workers on Leadership with this young man who combined his walk with the launch of the ClimateForce challenge, a response to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.  This presentation is part of A Good Space's youth movement: #YoungXHush.
