Rethinking Education - Towards a Global Common Good
This publication from UNESCO is their most significant report on Education since Learning: The treasure within in 1996, (the ‘Delors Report’), and before that Learning to Be: The world of education today and tomorrow in 1972, (the ‘Faure Report’).
At the centre of this report is sustainable development, the concept of knowledge and education as global common goods and learning as a collective societal endeavour.
This is a report that we should all carefully read.
