Asia South Pacific Association for Basic and Adult Education (ASPBAE) celebrates its 50th anniversary

The Asia South Pacific Association for Basic and Adult Education (ASPBAE) celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2014. Founded by a small group of passionate adult education practitioners on 30 January 1964 in a UNESCO regional workshop in Sydney, Australia, ASPBAE has grown to a more than 200 strong membership-based organisations, with members operating in 33 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

11th PASCAL Conference - Closing thoughts...

Cities Learning Together showed that partners can collaborate productively around shared purposes. The outcome can be shared ownership and commitment to further bilateral and multilateral action. This comes from learning together in an open participatory way, where different parties contribute relevant authority and expertise from different kinds of experience.

National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement [NCCPE]

Based at the Watershed Media Centre in central Bristol, the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement [NCCPE] was established in 2008 as part of the £9.2m UK Beacons for Public Engagement initiative.
