A busy year for the PASCAL LCN Faith-based Learning City Development network

The PASCAL Learning Cities Networks (LCN) Faith-based Learning City Development network has been busy this past year, drawing on the tangible resources of a lens grounded in faith and spirituality to build community resilience and work towards renewal in our respective localities during these times of pandemic, protest and increasing climate change.

Faith-based Learning City Development Network Updates

The Faith-based Learning City Development Network will be hosting a number of gatherings in the next few months to continue the conversation we began in 2016. Co-chair Dr. Maria Liu Wong and LCN Director Dr. Rob Mark will be at the PASCAL Suwon conference in late August 2018 and coordinate a gathering for prospective network members in attendance at the conference. Faith / Spirituality-based Learning Cities Development Network Highlights for 2016 - 2018

The Faith / Spirituality-based Learning City Development Network has been growing since our beginnings in 2016. After the PASCAL International Observatory Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, Dr. Rob Mark (PASCAL LCN Director), Dr. Connie Watson (LearnLong Institute of Education and Learning Research), and Dr. Maria Liu Wong (LearnLong / City Seminary of New York) convened the first meeting for interested parties in July 2016 at City Seminary of New York (New York City).

FAITH, SPIRITUALITY, AND LEARNING CITIES - NEW YORK, NY MAY 19, 2017

On May 19, 2017, scholars and practitioners gathered for a second meeting of interest at City Seminary of New York in Harlem, NYC. This event was organized in collaboration with PASCAL and LearnLong Institute of Education and Learning Research, and hosted by the seminary.
