Enterprise Education - What Works? Despite the high numbers of courses available in universities and elsewhere this paper argues that there is still a lack of knowledge and sound research on which interventions and approaches work best for their given context. How Smart Cities enable Urban Sustainability A very accessible piece which outlines the concept of a smart city and demonstrates how using big data and modern technology helps cities tackle environmental issues through a focus on transportation, weather patterns, water consumption and more. Universities Partnering with Cities to research more sustainable environments On a similar theme, this piece from Mike Hower reports a major new grant to the University oof Minnesota to bring together a network of scientists, industry leaders and policy parrtners across 9 universities and major metropolitan areas in the US and India with the aim of re-imagining urban infrastrucure in such areas as energy grids, road networks, green spaces and food and water systems.
