Switzerland - a learning country
The National Awareness Campaign for Life Long Learning
The Learning Festival brings a new learning experience to the people. Committed people join forces with education providers. Labour market officials and politicians join in with regional stakeholders to create a platform for various exciting events around the field of education. The regional learning events are based mainly on voluntary work. Without the support of dedicated and well-connected people, the Learning Festival would not be possible.
Apart from taking pleasure in a learning experience, the Learning Festival mainly focuses on educational networking. Education Networks strengthen the education sector locally as well as region-wide. In Switzerland, the Learning Festival 2011 will be held for the eighth time, again as a 24-hour event, on September 9/10.
The campaign for raising awareness for further education is subsidesed by the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPED). The event is supported by a patronage of the Swiss Commission of UNESCO and the Forum Continuing Education Switzerland. Responsibility for its national coordination lies with the Swiss Federation of Adult Education, SVEB.
The Learning Festival 2011 will be held on September 9/10, 2011.
On Friday, September 9/2011 Switzerland is a learning country. Everybody is invited to sign in: www.lernfestival.ch/ich_lerne. Switzerland needs your support and is looking forward to reading your name!
Thanks a lot!
