University of Glasgow - MSc in Youth People, Social Inclusion and Change/MSc in Youth Studies
At the University of Glasgow, host of PASCAL's centre in Europe, the MSc in Young People, Social Inclusion and Change (MSc in Youth Studies) programme is recruiting students fast and there are only a few places left for 2015/16. Youth is now a hot topic internationally and this is being reflected in the increase in the numbers of students, both recently graduated and those already working in the field, wanting to pursue their studies and develop their careers in this area of work.
The University's vibrant Youth Studies programme, which recruits students from all over the world, offers opportunities to study youth in a wide variety of settings and countries and from different perspectives. In addition to the programme's core courses covering young's people's development and learning, and perspectives on youth and young adults, there is an exciting choice of option courses from right across the College of Social Sciences. Students are encouraged to develop and pursue their own areas of interest within youth studies, devising jointly with the course leaders their own essay and dissertation questions and topics. We also have a lively Youth Studies Facebook Group which provides the opportunity for continued good interaction and exchange of news between students and staff between classes, as well as with other interested researchers from outside of the University of Glasgow. For more details about the programme, please go to this link and feel free to contact Dr Lesley Doyle, the Programme Leader. PASCAL's Deputy Director in Europe at [email protected] if you or someone you know might be interested in joining the programme.
