Productivity paper by Paul Eslake, Director, Productivity Growth Program (AU)
The European Union Centre at RMIT is currently undertaking research into the issue of Productivity. This topic appears to be gaining momentum given the two speed economy Australia is reportedly experiencing. In a recent paper titled Productivity (below) presented in August of 2011 to the annual policy conference of the Reserve Bank of Australia by Saul Eslake the Director, Productivity Growth Program – The Grattan Institute and Advisor, Economics & Policy, PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia sets out a very detailed analysis of productivity and uses a wide range of data to support his findings. Anyone interested in the topic of productivity will find this an interesting paper and the European Union Centre [email protected] would be very interested to hear from anyone with an interest in this topic.
