I take great pleasure to share with you news of our PASCAL Directors. Marius Venter, the founder and Director of the Centre for Local /Economic Development (CENLED) based at the University of Johannesburg, has been made Full Professor at his institution.  Across the Indian Ocean in Australia, Robbie Guevara, an Associate Professor in International Development at RMIT's School of Global, Urban and Social Studies in Melbourne, has been elected President of the International Council of Adult Education.

Marius’s excellent work in the field of entrepreneurship and SMEs, and Robbie’s experience and leadership in adult learning and education, have received well-deserved recognition. It remains for me to add my congratulations, knowing that Marius and Robbie will call on us in the future.
