The Getting of Wisdom

Recently, an international collaborative exchange "The Getting of Wisdom" was organised by the peak adult and community education bodies of Australia (Adult Learning Australia) and New Zealand (ACE Aotearoa), in partnership with ELOA (Education and Learning by Older Adults) - a research network of ESREA (European Society for Research into the Education of Adults).  The gathering focussed on diverse contexts, social inequalities and empowerment/identity in later life.

The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum and Young Leaders Symposium 2017 ended on a high note in May with mayors and city leaders from 55 cities making a Declaration to work towards the shared vision of creating liveable, inclusive, harmonious, resilient, safe and sustainable cities through innovation and collaboration.

Our vision is to connect the access community around the world so that the cause of access and student success for those underrepresented at the post-secondary level will gain its voice, momentum and capacity for impact, positively transforming student opportunity at the global and local level. I would like to invite you to participate in our work.
