11th Researching Work and Learning (RWL) Conference, 24-26 July 2019, Justus-Leibig University, Giessen, Germany
You are invited to give papers at the 11th Researching Work and Learning (RWL) conference, 24 – 26th July 2019, Justus-Leibig- University Giessen in Germany coming up this summer and we warmly encourage all our colleagues to consider participating. We also would be grateful if you would share the information with others who you feel would be interest in this event.
Information is attached but please note:
RWL 11 invites individual papers/ symposiums/ roundtables/ posters that address one or more of the following sub-themes:
- Systems, policies and stakeholders as wider contexts
- Occupations, jobs and careers
- Sectors and labour markets
- Enterprises as organisations and diverse configurations
- Cultural, historical and socio-material perspectives on work, learning, agency and social change
- Work identity, biographies, learning trajectories and subjectivity
- Professions and organisations supporting learning
- Interactions between teaching/ instructing/ coaching and learning
- Knowledge, competences, qualifications and needs
- Learning in virtual spaces or hybrid arrangements
- Methodology development and theory building for researching work and learning

The deadline for proposals is November 30th, 2018

The format of the programme will be as follows:
- Workshops (3 papers – each 20 minutes presentation + 10 minutes discussion)
- Symposiums of 90 minutes (three or more presenters who all focus on the same theme)
- Roundtables of 60 minutes (presentation of research in progress for discussion)
- Poster Slam (short presentation of posters by your researchers)
