Conference Announcement and Call To Participate | Lifelong Learning: The State of the Art, Benin, 2-4 June, 2021
We are pleased to announce the release of the Call for Papers for the International Bilingual Conference on Lifelong Learning: the State of the Art to be held in Cotonou, Benin from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2021 at the Golden Tulipe-Hôtel Le Diplomate.
The theme of lifelong learning is intentionally broad to allow discussions to cover a range of issues facing lifelong learning as a result of both the 2008 financial crash and the recent and still ongoing crisis (at time of posting) created by the global pandemic. There are also issues around how and in what ways lifelong learning can contribute to making progress on the UN SDGs. What role can collaborations between the global north and south play to facilitate progress in achieving lifelong learning for all?
Proposals for papers, presentations and panel discussions on these and related and relevant areas are invited and should be sent to [email protected] by the 31st of October 2020. Further details can be found on the Conference website.
Proposals (up to 400 words for papers and poster presentations and up to 800 words for panels) should describe the issue(s) the presentation will address as well as the conceptual or theoretical framework guiding the research or policy questions and the type of data for the analysis.
The conference is organised by the University Abomey-Calavi (UAC) and its Faculty of Health and Social Sciences supported by the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and CR&DALL (Centre for Research and Development in Adult and Lifelong Learning) at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
