David Campbell, who has been link Person for the PURE Review of Melbourne, is now starting a new job from Monday October 4 as Director of Farm Services Design at the Department of Primary Industries, Victoria. This will involve leading a group within Farm Services Victoria which is focused on helping Victoria’s farming communities and production sectors to be more productive, competitive and sustainable. The group will focus on strategic research, design and improvement of farm services by DPI and in partnership with external agencies. This is an area of work that is congruent with PASCAL’s interests, particular those of Pat Inman in Illinois, who is leading work concerned with local food production.
