We were very pleased to be able to host two PASCAL directors as our keynote speakers at the first International Conference of European and Asian Researchers and Educators on Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development (I-CEARE 2017) on Boracay Island, Philippines from 12-14 May 2017.

Robbie Guevera from RMIT and Mike Osborne from Glasgow kicked off the conference with contributions both of which dealt with aspects of the role of lifelong learning in meeting sustainable development goals.
