The 14th World Congress of WCCES (World Council of Comparative Education Societies) will be held in Istanbul in June 2010 and will provide a forum for leading scholars from across the world in education and social sciences, politics, civil society, and academia to discuss different perspectives and share valuable studies in education and changing world. The event is an invaluable opportunity for academia, NGOs and policy makers worldwide to discuss and enjoy the share of knowledge in the area.

Presentations in the congress will be mainly in English but French and Turkish presentations are also welcome. Also presentations can be made in Local Languages spoken in Turkey, as long as the translation facilities and translators are available.

In particular, the 14th WCCES World Congress has been organized under the following thematic groups:

  13. Education, Migration, Citizenship and the State
  14. Cross-Thematic Groups (Special Interest Groups / Special Workshops / Symposia / Round table)
