Adam Smith Research Foundation, University of Glasgow - VISITING RESEARCH FELLOW scheme.

Please consider the following possibility and let the world know. This fellowship can be in an area related to PASCAL work since the Adam Smith Research Foundation is based within the College of Social Sciences of which PASCAL is a part at the University of Glasgow.

The Adam Smith Research Foundation is inviting applications for a VISITING RESEARCH FELLOW scheme. Candidates should show how their research will fit with one or more of the College's research themes. In addition to pursuing their own research project, Fellows will be expected to engage with academics and postgraduate researchers in the University to promote multidisciplinary approaches to their research area through seminars, workshops and lectures. Innovative methodological contributions will be particularly welcome. A written version of the research project undertaken while visiting will be offered to the ASRF Working Papers series for publication.

The ASRF Visiting Research Fellowship will be awarded each semester after a consideration of applications by the Board of the ASRF. Fellows will be entitled to a stipend of £7,000 to cover travel and some living expenses. In addition, office accommodation, IT and Library access will also be provided. Fellows will be expected to be resident at the University for a minimum of 3 months.

Fellow Scheme dates: from September 2011

Deadline for Applications: 15 April 2011
