PASCAL Co-Sponsors TRE Roundtable: Washington, DC

Northern Illinois University, in its role as the North American PASCAL Center, is co-sponsoring the 2011 TRE Roundtable & annual meeting in Washington, DC (December 5-7, 2011).  The TRE Roundtable theme is "Accelerating Regional Solutions: Finding Unique Pathways to American Prosperity."

The North American PASCAL Center has been engaged in a series of partnership-oriented conversations with U.S. organizations such as TRE Networks.  We believe there is great synergy to be gained by linking arms with like-minded enterprises and we believe this important December event offers an excellent opportunity for PASCAL members to "cross boundaries" and learn more about uniquely American approaches to regional economic and community development.

This event will feature a keynote address by Josef Konvitz, a great friend to PASCAL International Observatory.  It was through collaborative dialogue that we were able to link TRE and PASCAL.  Dr. Konvitz is recently retired as Head of the Regulatory Policy Division within the OECD.  Dr. Konvitz will address regions on the international stage -- governance, place and higher education.
