Free Seminar: Crisis In and About Ukraine - 14 March

Dr Walter Zaryckyj will reflect on the way in which the current situation in Ukraine arisen and sketch its principal features as they appear at the moment. Among the questions he will address are whether the Ukrainian situation can ignite a new Cold War.

He will examine the significance of Ukraine to the United States, the EU, and the Russian Federation. Dr Zaryckyj will consider scenarios for Ukraine’s future and suggest why they should interest Australia as a strategic ally of the United States and the EU.
